Iam writing to express my sincere appreciation for the care I received at Methodist for a total knee replacement performed by Dr. Seroyer one week ago. To be clear as I can be at 75 years old, I am so impressed and thankful for the care I received. Perfection can be a difficult target to hit 100% of the time and hospital care is a complicated standard to maintain, but I could not be more satisfied with my care from check in to pre-op to recovery to Nursing and Assistant Nursing care. Even the food was outstanding and that is often a complaint in hospitals, but mine was outstanding. Standards begin at the top and while I never interacted at that group, those high standards flowed through the entire organization. I even had to return to the emergency room after surgery and had an equally managed experience. I am obviously impressed with this hospital and ask that they continue to provide the same level of patient care. Thank you! ~Bill Kemp

Every single person admin, reception, care techs, nurses, doctors, food service .....every single person we had contact with treated me and my family as if they were also a part of our family. I was never just a patient number it seemed. Having to have a quite unexpected quintuple bypass, the kindness, professionalism, patience they exhibited was truly a blessing. I and my family will be forever grateful. Thank-you! Y'all truly wrapped healing arms of skill, care, and comfort around me. God Bless this organization and all involved in its operation and care giving,

I was admitted to this hospital with Coronary issues this past week. I have never witnessed the amount of professionalism and team work,as I have while spending six days in your facility. Your team of doctors, ranging from your hospitalist, to the Cardiologist. The team of nurses and technicians operating your Cath lab are hands down, the best group of medical employees I witnessed first hand. Your nurses running the sixth floor were on their A game and extremely professional. I trust this hospital and staff with my life and highly recommend the services that are offered there. A big thanks to Hospitalist Khuong Phan for going above and beyond to assure I received the best cardio services in what I deem the best place to send loved ones in need of emergency care. God Bless you Dr Phan, Dr Haider, Dr Lathia, Dr Cekro and Nurse Practioner Sherlock for your continual dedication and compassion in the medical field. My heart thanks you ! ❤️. C.Bisset

On March 7, 2026, my family's world changed forever. My mother had a brain bleed, stroke and had three seizures. She was taken to Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. Dr. Bidgoli the ER physician told us that this was something that he did not feel my mother would recover from and her quality of life would not be good. We had some decisions that needed to be made because of the stroke and the seizures my mother was having a difficult time breathing on her own. He recommended that she be put on a ventilator to allow time for family to get there. I remember feeling a very gentle hand pat my shoulder and telling me he knew it was a very difficult decision to make and he was there for us. Little did I know at that moment that the kind voice and gentle hand was that of Dr. Mark Shapiro the trauma surgeon that had cared for my mother when she was brought in the last time after a fall and had a small brain bleed. His kind voice and gentle hand on my shoulder gave me a very brief since of peace. The emergency room nurses were so very kind to me and my family during the entire time. The took my family to a room that was near that allowed all of us to be together while we waited. During that time, they took my mother to Neuro ICU where they allowed two visitors at a time. The steps from the family room to the elevators to the Neuro ICU floor were some of the hardest steps I had ever walked in my life. The elevator doors opened to the receptionist in the Neuro ICU. Let me tell you it was there that I met the kindest sweetest most uplifting person. Her name was Carey Moore. She did not know me, but she could tell that I was hurting and her kind words of encouragement helped me more than she will ever know. Dr. Sumeesh Dhawan was the hospitalist that took over her care. He walked us through what would happen next. He was so kind and soft spoken. It was clear that he really cared and wanted to give my mother the most peaceful way of passing. We were in the Neuro ICU for three n

I had an outstanding experience at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. From the moment I arrived, I was seen and admitted incredibly fast, which immediately put me at ease during a stressful time. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable—clearly well cared for and thoughtfully designed for patient recovery. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was the nursing staff. Every nurse went well beyond basic duties, showing genuine compassion, professionalism, and attentiveness throughout my stay. I want to give special recognition to Nurse Chandler. She truly stood out for her level of care and concern. She didn’t just do her job—she genuinely cared about my health and well-being, checked in often, explained things clearly, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and informed. Her kindness and dedication made a huge difference in my recovery and overall experience. I’m extremely grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend Methodist Mansfield to anyone needing hospital care. This facility and its staff set the standard for what patient care should be.

Review Methodist Medical Center in Mansfield, Tx: Overall Rating: 97 Medical Center Clean: 100; Overnight staff: 100; Surgery staff: 100 Surgeon: 100; Food: 95; Check in: 70; Room: 100 Patient REVIEW DATE/TIME: 2/04/2025 – 2/06/2025. Arrived 5:15 am Tuesday am. Check in was subpar. Surgery Knee replacement went smoothly we were updated via phone calls and the surgery waiting room was great with TV and an electronic bulletin board with the patient status. Everyone related to the surgery was friendly and very professional. About 1 hour after the surgery, I was notified of my wife had been placed in a room on 4th floor this required access to Elevator B near the café which was located on the south wing of the hospital. The room was spacious and had a larger restroom area in the room. Everything was clean. The staff in this part of the Medical Center was extremely nice. I really hadn’t been in such a clean modern hospital in quite awhile but this place really impressed me. The food menu had a lot of options and the food tasted really nice. The whole staff keep giving us updates and really seemed to give us up to date information on everything. I would recommend this place to anyone that need surgery. DR. SHANE T SEROYER from TMI that did the surgery was top notch. My wife was actually walking with a walker 4 hours after her knee replacement. Note: they were cleaning the room when I took pictures of the room.

My 5th floor stay for 2 nights was great! Day shift and night shift nurses and care techs were very nice and made sure all my needs were met. I will chose this hospital again when surgery is needed. Thank you all, including Dr Phan (pronounced like a FAN)...his words...lol.

I recently was a patient in the ICU my name is Devon Glazer. This wednesday night I experienced the most awesome lighthearted and caring nurse ive ever met in my life. I was in room b2060 her name was Natasha S I think. I may never see her again but I would be ever so grateful if someone would pass the word of how impressed I was with her care and compassion. I tried everything I could not to inconvenience her but she was on top of her game and was there for me every minute I was there. She truly went above and beyond and deserves recognition for it.

Let's be real, nobody likes hospitals, and they often get a bad rap no matter. We found ourselves in the ER at midnight on a Friday night and we're immediately cared for. This led to a three day stay and minor surgical procedure. I felt that the ER triage nurse could have shown a little more urgency, but other than him, EVERY EMPLOYEE we encountered was exceptional. They seem to love working here, and that in-turn leads to wonderful care for the patient. I would love to give more ★'s for these awesome employees. The nurses, the doctors, the kitchen, the janitorial, the techs, all of them provided top notch care for my wife. The hospital is clean, the rooms are large, private, and well appointed. There is a couch that makes into a bed for family members to sleep on if needed.

Hospitals are the last place you would want to be on a legal holiday. But if you're family is anything like mine, sometimes you have no choice and you find yourself needing hospital care on a holiday. That's when you will want the luck of finding Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. Methodist Mansfield Medical Center must be the crown jewel of care on the South side of the DFW Metroplex. We had a very serious medical issue pop up on Memorial Day and we could not hold out until the a normal business day to visit our regular primary care physician. We were very pleasantly surprised on this our first ever visit to Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. First, we found good parking. You rarely get a good parking spot at most hospitals. Then we found a pleasant reception room with good lighting, refreshment machines, nearby restrooms, easily understood signage, and a nice TV THAT WORKED. (Too many waiting rooms have broken TVs.) It was a good start. The receptionist was polite and efficient. And after a short wait we were welcomed by the check-in nurse and she professionally and caringly documented our dilemma and planned for our medical needs. Shortly thereafter, we were brought to a private room and saw a variety of professionals. We met six different nurses and aids, in addition to the doctor. By the end of our visit our emergency was under control and our family was breathing a sigh of relief. We hope to NOT need urgent medical care again anytime soon, but if another emergency does pop up, I know we will be in good hands at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center.
